a while ago i photographed diana's quincenera. i love hispanic culture, & quinceneras are one of my favorite parts about them. diana's was so beautiful.

diana looked too gorgeous.

the first dance with diana's brothers & some dancers her family hired.

diana dancing with her family.

i took some photos of diana & her family outside, plus the boys they hired to dance.

they did the dance a second time because the owners of the place they rented wanted to see it.

diana & her mother.

lots of dancing. thank god i was the photographer so i didn't have to dance.

& then there was the cake. it was spectacular. gorgeous. diana looked even more gorgeous standing next to it. the lighting on it just made it even more beautiful. i especially liked the 'd' on the top. ahh, this cake was so beautiful! i love quinceneras!

if you know anyone who has a quincenera coming up, let me know. :)

more remeniscing until Bennison gets fixed.
i'm taking it in to bestbuy to get it fixed on the warranty after work today. 12-8. 8 hours on my feet in shoes that give me blisters. not looking forward to it. 15 total hours this weekend.
anyway.

my little sister went to homecoming this year. she hated these pictures, but she hates 99.9% of pictures of herself, so i've gotten over that.

we hit many small towns on our way to kirksville, & unionville is one of them. the next time i go up there i'll take more pictures, but these are the only ones i have. unionville is very..unique.

one of the houses.

the church in unionville.

the next time i go through unionville i'll take more pictures. the town reminds me of a town that could be on house of wax or some scary movie like that.

at the beginning of february my mom, sister & i went to kirksville for my uncle's funeral.
i like documenting my trips to kirksville because i don't go up there often.

we always pass worlds of fun on the way to kirksville. this is the patriot, which i still haven't riden because i'm a baby.

worlds of fun.

on the way to kirksville we always pass the ameristar, a casino. it used to be a yearly tradition that my mom's side of the family would get together once a year & eat at the buffet at the ameristar. it had a chinese buffet, american buffet, italian buffet, breakfast buffet, etc. it was crazy.

larissa & her bestfriend mckenzie. i never thought i'd meet someone as strange as larissa. but they're perfect together :) haha.

larissa found her doll molly from when she was really little. molly & larissa were literally inseperable when larissa was younger. she would not go anywhere without molly. she didn't hold her by her head back then though, hahaha.

my dad & his friend kirk. they've been friends for so long. i remember going to kirk & barb's house every fourth of july & shooting off fireworks & bbq-ing. i was little, though. like, 8? i can't really remember. i do remember the field by his house, though. i loved it too much.

there was a lot of winter in kirksville, like kansas city. it was like a blizzard. crazy. & soo cold!

my dad gave me his guitar. i know he wants me to learn the guitar & it would make him really happy, so i'm gonna try. still haven't gotten any lessons yet :/ but i named her esperanza because she's an alvarez haha.

my dad has this plant (it's fake), but i love it soo much for some reason.
